need regular adjustment:
Air filters and indoor coil: The dirtier the coil or filter, the less air flow you have, which makes the system work harder.
Condenser coils: The condenser coil is outside where the heat transfer takes place. The coil is exposed to the elements and needs regular cleaning to work efficiently.
Lubrication: Mechanical equipment needs regular lubrication to keep it quiet and help it last.
Electrical connections: Normal wear and tear on equipment causes connections to loosen. Eventually this will cause your system to fail, usually in the hottest part of summer or the coldest part of winter!
Refrigerant: There are many EPA regulations regarding the correct use of refrigerants (what most people call Freon®). Every system contains refrigerant. The stuff is expensive and must be properly logged, stored and handled. Refrigerants never get used up; if you are low on refrigerant, then you have a leak.
Duct system: It is something hidden away in your attic or crawlspace so you probably NEVER think about it, but it is crucial to the efficiency of your heat and air: the duct system. We find that many problems can be traced to a poorly sized or installed duct system. If the ducts come apart or shift, you may be spending money to heat and cool the hidden parts of your house instead of the living spaces - happens all the time.

We service your heat and air system twice a year. This service includes:
Every visit:
- Change air filter(s)
- Tighten electrical connections
- Measure refrigerant charge
- Check thermostat and controls
- Lubricate motor bearings
- Inspect duct system for leaks and damage
- Assure system operating properly
- Report results to customer
Every other visit:
- Clean condensing coil
- Clean burner (gas units)
- Clean drain pan & drain line
- Check electric heat
- Check gas pressure (gas units)
- Check evaporator coil
- Clean blower wheels
- Inspect heat exchanges
Our technicians are not paid a commission on parts or sales. We train our guys to identify and fix homeowner problems, where ever the problems might be.
